Xizi Otis Recognized for Service Quality with China’s Preferred Service Brand Award


HANGZHOU, China, May 11, 2015 Xizi Otis Elevator Co. Ltd. (Xizi Otis) has received the 2014 Annual National Government Procurement Preferred Service Elevator Brand Award in recognition of the quality and strength of its maintenance and after-sales service. Xizi Otis is a subsidiary of Otis Elevator (China) Investment Co. Ltd., which is a part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

The award was presented at the 10th annual National Government Purchasing and Collective Buying Conference, which was co-hosted by Government Procurement Information and www.caigou2003.com. Xizi Otis was selected for the award following the award selection panel’s assessment that included evaluation of its maintenance systems, emergency response, parts center, service technicians and customer satisfaction.

By the end of 2014, the campaign had reached more than 74,000 students in 40 cities in 14 provinces including Zhejiang, Xinjiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Shaanxi, Qinghai and Gansu. In addition, 25,000 copies of the Elevator Safe Riding Educational Book were donated to children in more than 100 schools.
