Helping hands for those hit hardest by Hurricane Maria

Hurricane Maria did the most damage in Puerto Rico’s central mountainous region. The Pratt & Whitney humanitarian relief team regularly travels to these isolated towns to lend support and a helping hand.

Meet Pratt & Whitney’s first ever relief manager, Wanda Cardona. On any given day you can find her riding 4x4’s to isolated communities, handing out supplies and identifying where humanitarian help is needed the most in Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria. Watch her story above.

This video is part of a series of stories we will share over the next few weeks that showcase the
dedication and generous spirit of UTC employees who have worked tirelessly to help communities affected by Hurricane Maria.  They are inspiring and motivational. And they demonstrate the spirit of community that defines our company. Keep coming back as we document the important work our employees are doing in Puerto Rico.
