Pratt & Whitney's PurePower Geared Turbofan™ engine powered the first revenue service flight of the Bombardier CS300 with airBaltic, taking passengers from Riga to Amsterdam on Dec. 14. airBaltic took delivery of its first CS300 aircraft on Nov. 28 at Bombardier headquarters in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. Pratt & Whitney is a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

airBaltic has ordered 20 of Bombardier's latest CS300 jets, each powered by Pratt & Whitney's revolutionary PurePower engines. The PurePower Geared Turbofan engine backlog continues to grow.
