Pratt & Whitney Featured as the Future of Connecticut Manufacturing

The innovation and success of several state companies, including Pratt & Whitney, are featured in an original documentary from CPTV called "Made in Connecticut," premiering on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. on CPTV, the PBS affiliate of the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network.

Pratt & Whitney, and the breakthrough technology of its PurePower® engine and F135 engine, is one of 12 Connecticut companies highlighted for its ingenuity and success and for helping to put Connecticut on the forefront of a manufacturing revolution. The scheduled production increase for Pratt & Whitney and the positive impact on for the company, employees and its supply base in Connecticut will also be part of the show.

"Made in Connecticut" is part of a three-year, multi-platform initiative that also includes special programming on CPTV and WNPR/Connecticut Public Radio, CPBN's NPR affiliate, and online at www.madeinct.cptv.org.
