Producing about 80 percent of the components and parts, Pratt & Whitney's supply chain will play a critical role in the company's unprecedented increase in engine production.

"Our goal is to identify supply chain issues early and collaborate with the suppliers before a potential constraint or impediment occurs," Rita Peralta, general manager, Operations Command Center, told IndustryWeek during an interview.
