Pratt & Whitney and IAM Open Negotiations

Contract negotiations between Pratt & Whitney and IAM Locals 700 and 1746, District 26 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) are underway. The contract being negotiated will cover approximately 2,800 Pratt & Whitney employees in Connecticut.

Talks will continue over the next several weeks, ending with a contract vote on Sunday, Dec. 8. The current contract expires at midnight Dec. 8.

During negotiations, by joint agreement of the company and the union, no statements will be given to the news media about discussions at the bargaining table. Briefings will be available to the news media at the conclusion of negotiations, after IAM members at Pratt & Whitney review and vote on the company's final offer.
