La st month, The National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. (NMSDC) honored the Arnold-Hanafin Corporation (AHC), one of UTC’s suppliers, at its annual Minority Business Leadership Awards. The event, which recognized a total of 20 suppliers, celebrated the long-term partnerships between corporate America and NMSDC-certified Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American businesses.
AHC, a Minority Business Enterprise certified with the NMSDC, is a staffing organization that specializes in engineering and information technology services. Since 1996, the company has fostered a proud professional relationship with UTC, providing more than 1000 temporary contractors at multiple engineering departments across the company.
AHC has been recognized with several awards across UTC, including Pratt & Whitney’s Minority Supplier of the Year in 2001, UT500 Suppliers for Engineering Services Award in 2002, and UTC’s Supplier Excellence Award in 2005.
Not only has AHC been recognized as a top supplier, the company is the first and only minority business enterprise engineering services company to achieve UTC Supplier Gold Certification in 2012.
Since 1979, UTC has been a corporate member of the NMSDC, with representation on the organization’s board. The NMSDC is the leading organization for advancing business opportunities between Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American-owned companies and major corporations.
