Anna Kearns is a senior project engineer at UTAS in Burnsville, MN. After leaving the workforce because of familial obligations, she decided to return to work and found UTC’s Re-Empower program. Anna found the program to offer a “good structure and support network of resources and tools” to facilitate workforce re-entry. She found it especially helpful that “within a structured framework there was a degree of flexibility to tailor that support to fit one’s particular situation and needs.” To candidates interested in the program, she advises, “take it one day at a time, and keep an open mind.”
