For the third year we have sought independent analysis of our reporting. In 2007, at a London meeting, stakeholders complimented our progress but called for stronger targets and more detail, especially about UTC’s business units. UTC’s products contribute to sustainable development. Stakeholders suggested better reporting of product development, especially on the risks and opportunities of climate change, would improve investor understanding.
