HARTFORD, Conn., June 14, 2006 -– United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) Board of Directors today declared a dividend of 26.5 cents per common share payable Sept.10, 2006, to shareowners of record at the close of business on Aug. 18.

UTC has paid cash dividends on its common stock for 70 consecutive years dating to 1936.
