UTC Chairman and CEO George David affirms 2006 earnings per share and cash flow outlooks

HARTFORD, Conn., May 23, 2006 -- United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer George David today affirmed the company's 2006 outlook for earnings in the range of $3.50 to $3.60 per share. David spoke at the Electrical Products Group Conference in Florida and also affirmed UTC's 2006 guidance for cash flow from operations less capital expenditures equal to net income.

United Technologies Corp., based in Hartford, Conn., is a diversified company that provides a broad range of high technology products and support services to the building systems and aerospace industries.
