BANGALORE, India, November 5, 2008 -– United Technologies opened its Second Annual India Supplier Conference today in Bangalore, India. Nearly 200 supply representatives from 43 Indian companies gathered for this year’s event.

Our confidence in the Indian market remains high.”
This year’s supplier conference coincided with the opening of a new aerospace supply office in Bangalore.
“This new facility enables our aerospace business units to provide technical support to existing suppliers,” continued Chênevert. “Developing a broader and deeper local supply base is a focus for UTC aerospace companies as they continue to expand operations in India.”
