David Jash Coaching Success Mentor: David Ali, Manager, Engineering Quality and ACE, Pratt & Whitney Canada Mentee: Jash, age 22 Question: How has mentoring affected you personally and professionally? David Ali: The experience has been truly inspiring. I feel a sense of accomplishment that I have passed on some of my experience and helped an individual grow. Question: What do you like about your mentor? Jash: He has helped me be the best that I could be both technically and professionally. He has led me in the right direction and pushed me to reach my potential throughout my journey as a student. He has provided continuous support during my time as a student and intern at Pratt & Whitney Canada. Question: What do you think your mentee likes most about having you as a mentor? David Ali: Jash sees that he can have a future while doing what he loves to do. I am an example to these students that you can make a living with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) in an environment that is creative and can help you grow at a great company like Pratt & Whitney Canada.
