Each year, United Technologies and its employees are proud to partner with the American Cancer Society (ACS) through organizing a Relay For Life event. This year marked the ninth consecutive year UTC partnered with the ACS through supporting this event, which took place at UTC’s Farmington campus on Friday, Sep. 8.
The fundraising goal for this year was set at $75,000, and due to the efforts of the 16 teams that signed up to participate, that goal was surpassed with more than $120,000 raised. Proceeds support cancer research as well as patient care, education and advocacy.
