Ombudsman / DIALOG
UTC wants to hear what employees and others have to say – your questions, ideas, suggestions, criticisms, concerns, complaints, and compliments.
Generally, the best way to communicate with UTC management is by a direct contact; however, there might be occasions when you wish to discuss what’s on your mind but not want your name or identity known by management – or not revealed at all. Ombudsman/DIALOG can be accessed either by phone, directly to an Ombudsman, or in writing, by sending a “DIALOG”. More complex issues, including legal issues or those that will require investigation by management, ordinarily are handled by an Ombudsman. Written DIALOGs can be sent either by mail or by using a secure, encrypted, web-enabled system hosted outside of UTC.
Note: Under French law, the scope of Ombudsman/DIALOG is limited in France to (a) accounting, financial, banking and auditing matters; (b) bribery and corruption matters; (c) anti-competitive matters; and (d) internal processes and controls related to (a), (b), and (c) above.
