Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity & Inclusion

At UTC, our greatest asset is the diversity of our people and their ideas. Our success as a global technology leader rests on their unique talents, perspectives and experiences. Our strength is their shared commitment to build a better and more sustainable world for all of us.

At UTC we have the benefit of more than 50 employee resource group (ERGs) chapters across the company. Their collective mission is to support our efforts to attract, develop and retain top talent globally. In addition, these networks help raise the visibility of their constituencies through various activities while building a sense of community and increasing engagement among our employees. UTC strives to develop ERGs from nine core dimensions: African-American, Asian-American, Disability, Generational, Hispanic-American, LGBT Pride, Military/Veterans, Professional and Women.

“As leaders we must be deliberate and well versed with respect to diversity and inclusion. It’s our responsibility to convey the value of inclusion and eliminate unconscious bias. I truly believe that having a diverse workforce and creating an environment where all perspectives are valued and respected will lead to better performance and increased productivity – closely integrated with business growth and innovation. But it takes all of us.”
