We are committed to a culture of diversity that promotes inclusion and workplace equality for everyone.


At UTC, our greatest asset is the talent of our people. ​That’s why we encourage and support membership within an Employee Resource Group. With more than 50 employee resource group (ERGs) chapters across the company, In 2015, over 20% of our workforce reported belonging to an Employee Resource Group. 

Their collective mission is to support our efforts to attract, develop and retain top talent globally and are instrumental in assisting with the design of mentoring programs, retention initiatives, philanthropic outreach and important policy and guideline recommendations. ​In addition, these networks help raise the visibility of their constituencies through various activities while building a sense of community and increasing engagement among our employees. 

We strive to develop ERGs from nine core dimensions: ​African-American, Asian-American, Disability, Generational, Hispanic-American, LGBT Pride, Military/Veterans, Professional and Women​.
